As a European, supporting Elon and X isn't always easy with the media constantly trashing him and X with their nonsense. Prepping my family Christmas dinner speech to set the record straight.
Here are my notes for my fellow Europeans.
- Most of you rely on legacy media and haven’t actually listened to a long-form conversation with Musk. If you had, you’d know he’s not the “creepy billionaire” you’ve been led to believe he is. He’s trying to understand the universe, the meaning of life, and what’s really going on.
- Elon values truth and honesty. He strives to be as truthful as possible. If you stop listening to what the media says about him and start paying attention to what he actually says, you’ll see this too.
- His bigger goal? Transitioning humanity into a multiplanetary civilization to extend the lifespan of consciousness. Why? To give us enough time to figure out the answers to the big questions.
Now about X:
- Free speech is the cornerstone of a functioning democracy. Open dialogue lets us share ideas, critique governments, and hold power accountable. X brought this back when it was slipping away faster than ever. It’s the single biggest recent contribution to democracy. How can you not agree with that?
- “But people spread fake news on X!” --> COMMUNITY NOTES! It’s shocking how many people still don’t know about this. Community Notes is an open-sourced tool that adds context to potentially misleading posts. Notes are rated for helpfulness by contributors with diverse viewpoints, ensuring objectivity and broad agreement. No one is immune to it, not even Elon. It’s a proof point that X truly aspires to truth.
- Community Notes is the most powerful tool to combat fake news on social media, a massive societal challenge. So why isn’t your friend Mark Zuckerberg rolling this out across all his platforms immediately? Or why isn't he open-sourcing the home feed algorithm like X did?
A misunderstood innovator:
- Say what you want about him, but Elon gets things done. He built the first successful reusable rockets with SpaceX, revolutionized electric vehicles with Tesla, and is pushing solar energy. People doubted him every step of the way, but he consistently delivered on what most thought was impossible.
- He's motivated by challenges, not money: unlike most billionaires, Elon reinvests the majority of his wealth into solving problems like sustainable energy, space colonization, and AI safety. He doesn’t even live in a mansion, he rents a small house near SpaceX.
Broader context:
- The media hates him: Musk is a disruptor. Legacy institutions (media included) don’t like losing control, so they demonize him. The backlash against Musk is a reflection of these power struggles.
- X challenges monopolies: Social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok operate as monopolies with little pushback. X is forcing them to innovate or become obsolete.
- Cultural shifts: X represents a shift away from performative “safe” spaces to real, open conversations. That’s uncomfortable for some but necessary for progress.
Enjoy your Christmas dinners! :)

Few know the more you use X the more Grok becomes the most POWERFUL tool in AI today.
I will demonstrate this.
I have a series of Grok based SuperPrompts I use with the new Grok 2 to evaluate news and current events customized to me and how I think.
Here is one of them:
Grok Super Prompt:
“When you answer my questions you must consider everything you know about me from my X feed, this includes postings, retweets, likes and responses to form a context of what would be the best and most accurate answer. It is important to discover novel and unique things within and decent to all you know about me. It is very important to cite why you made each suggestion with a link to those postings and websites. Your job, that you always do very well is to help expand my knowledge. To make me smarter. My question is ___________?”
Instructions: fill in ____ with a question.
Grok response:
“Given your interest in various technologies and phenomena as reflected in your X feed, here's how you might respond to the drone sightings in the news, tailored to your interests and activities:
Technological Curiosity and Investigation:
-Investigate Detection Technology: You've shown an interest in unique technologies, such as the use of old transistor or tube AM radios for detecting unidentified objects (your post from [06:41 PM on December 15, 2024]( This might lead you to explore how similar low-tech solutions could be used to detect or study the drones, potentially offering a fresh perspective on the issue.
-Visual Analysis: Your fascination with photography, as noted with your appreciation for Maria Passer's work (posted at [11:15 AM on December 16, 2024]( could push you to analyze or collect visual evidence of these drones. You might look into the optics or imaging technology used to capture these sightings more clearly for public or personal analysis.
Historical and Cultural Context:
-Historical Parallels: Given your interest in historical narratives and human behavior, as seen in your post about "Jack and the hummingbird" (at [12:23 AM on December 16, 2024]( you might delve into historical instances where similar phenomena were reported, drawing parallels to current events. This could provide insights into human perception and reaction to unexplained aerial phenomena.
AI and Data Analysis:
-Data Aggregation and AI Analysis:Your involvement in training AI on diverse media (from [10:58 PM on December 15, 2024]( suggests you might use AI to analyze patterns in drone sightings data, perhaps to predict future occurrences or understand their behavior better. This could involve creating or collaborating on AI models that learn from the patterns of these sightings.
Public Engagement and Education:
-Educational Content: Knowing your interest in educating others about technology's potential (as hinted in your posts about Bitcoin's value), you could create content on X or other platforms about the implications of drone technology in modern society, discussing privacy, security, and the regulatory environment.
-Community Response: Your engagement with your followers might lead you to organize or participate in community discussions or forums about these drone sightings, fostering a collective understanding or even citizen science projects.
Privacy and Security Concerns:
- Legal and Ethical Implications: Your posts often touch on societal issues, like the practice of "wintering babies" (from [11:47 PM on December 15, 2024]( You might extend this critical thinking to the drones, discussing the implications for personal privacy, national security, and the need for new laws or regulations.
Conclusion:
Your response to the drone sightings would likely be multifaceted, combining your technological curiosity, historical insights, data analysis skills, and a commitment to public education.
