中国大陆已发生两起以日本人为目标的袭击事件，日本仍将中国列为0级（即安全级），美国和台湾均将中国列为三级安全警示（即建议民众避免非必要旅行）。 日本将旅游警示分四级，第一级为提醒注意，第二级为避免非必要旅行，第三级为不宜前往，第四级是宜尽速离境。0级则为安全级。 有日本国会议员要求日本政府对中国提高安全警示。奇怪的是日本政府忽然对此反应相当迟钝。
